Hi web explorers,
I built a small, beautiful app
called Planning Canvas, an
infinite sticky-note surface
for thinking.
It's one HTML file.
• Edit it live
• Share it as a URL
• Download it as a file and
run it offline with
Hyperclay Local

What this app lets you do
• Edit a card's text
• Move cards by dragging them
• Resize cards
• Set a card's status
• Search across all cards
• Clone/delete cards
Try Planning Canvas

The parts of the stack you
don't need any more
There's no state object. No
database. No re-render cycle.
When you drag a card, its
position updates in the DOM.
The HTML that renders
literally is the app.

front-end-only apps? Read:

Make it your own
Download the file, open it in
the Hyperclay Local app, and
start playing around with it.
If you try it, hit reply and
tell me what you think!

Upcoming: Beta Invite
Over the following weeks
you'll get 2 more emails: one
on HyperclayJS and one with
your beta invitation.
Seats will be limited because
I want to support each user
individually.
Beta expectations: You'll be
among the first to try a new
way to make software. There
will be bugs — please tell me
about them so I can fix every
one.
Let's hack the web platform
and make it better for
everyone,
— David
